Fun

Personal blogging should be fun.  You have the freedom to write about things that you want to write about, so how could not possibly have fun?  Personal blogging has become a hobby of mine, which is why it's fun for me.  Everyone can have fun blogging about something that they love.

Uniqueness

Personal blogs have this candid uniqueness that makes them special.  Personally I don't read other blogs so I can say i'm not using anyone else's ideas.  I may do something similar on the same as someone else, but the idea came to me on its own.  The idea of writing what I want, when I want is something that drives my enthusiasm to blog.

Entertainment

Your personal blog could be someones entertainment.  There are many people who like to read things that interest them.  Football for example has a very big reader community.  The NFL is a billion dollar industry that is continually growing.  There is a demand to hear about the sport.  From radio, to television, to magazine, to newspaper, to online blogs, people want to read and hear about the sport.  Blogs, even personal blogs can be entertaining.

What's your passion?

Ask yourself the question, What's my passion? and create a blog about it.  I did that with football because ever since I was a kid that's what I was passionate about.  Growing up I always found myself talking to my father and uncles about football.  They would always ask me, the 10 year old kid, for advice, whether it be in  fantasy football or pro football pick em'.  I sometimes thought they did it to make me feel good, but for the past 11 years nothings changed.  My dad still asks me to give him my opinion on who's going to win this week.  I'll tell him to go check out my blog because I post those kinds of things.

What Personal Blogging Means To Me

Blog: a Web site containing the writer's or group of writers' own experiences, observations, opinions, etc., and often having images and links to other Web sites.

Personal blogging to me is a way to express my thoughts and opinions freely.  For me talking about football is something I enjoy.  Through my blog I can give my thoughts and opinions.  I can get people to see the way I see something.  Personal blogs can be about anything.  Hobbies, traveling, food, movies, the limits are endless.  I chose football because it's a passion of mine, I love to talk about it.
